In the video below, our Director, Matt Warne, shares his tips on the best ways to degas and set the force of one of our adjustable force gas struts, the Vari-lift. There are two methods that can be used for this process, whichever method you choose comes down to the shape, size, and how safely you can ultimately carry out the process. Watch the video to find out more.
If you require a gas strut for an unusual load or it needs to be adaptable enough to respond to a personal preference, then this is the product to consider. This gas strut can be used in the same situations as our fixed force compression gas struts. However, this product has the adaptability and responsiveness that might be required in certain situations.
An extremely useful aspect of the adjustable gas struts is that they can be used during product prototyping to attain the required force for fixed-force compression gas springs. They can also be used where the weight of your products varies between models and can be degassed to provide the perfect activity for your needs. You can learn more about the Vari-lift here.
