What is Made in Britain?
Made in Britain is a registered trademark and not-for-profit organisation that campaigns strategically to promote British manufacturers and identifies products made in the UK.
The mark is used by British manufacturers to indicate that their products are made to high standards and meet certain quality criteria.
The organisation works collaboratively with other UK trade bodies, government departments and other groups that support skilled jobs, responsible business and sustainable manufacturing growth.
When did Camloc first receive Made in Britain accreditation?
We were delighted to be awarded our Made in Britain mark in 2014, meaning we celebrated our 10th anniversary of membership in 2024.
Many industries continue to place high importance and value on products manufactured in the UK, and our staff at Camloc are proud of our accreditation as the standards associated with the Made in Britain mark align perfectly with our own business values.
What does Made in Britain mean to Camloc customers?
Paired with free UK-based engineering support from concept design through to completion, as well as first-class after-sales care, the Made in Britain accreditation adds additional security and peace of mind to our customer base through the knowledge that they will receive a quality product.
We understand that consumers from the UK and further afield hold products manufactured in the UK in high regard, and our Made in Britain membership means we remain part of an exclusive group of manufacturers working in line with the principles of the mark.
When we talk to potential new customers, they are frequently telling us how important it is to them to source products that were manufactured in the UK.
Our personal approach to interacting with customers
Our customers, both existing and potential, put a lot of stock into the fact that we know what we’re talking about, and that they can talk to us anytime, about anything. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
During initial discussions with potential new customers, one of our engineers will lead the process to ensure you are receiving the best-quality advice from the outset.
Why do our engineers personally handle enquiries?
Who better than someone with the experience, the knowledge and the skills to talk to potential new customers?
We will ask lots of questions when we first start working together, because we believe the more information we can obtain at the very beginning of the project, before designing takes place, the more time, resources and money we can save you throughout.
Without asking the right questions, you’re never going to get the results you need, and this is especially true when it comes to manufacturing and engineering.
We want you to feel like you’re with a safe pair of hands, that you will get the service you need, and that ultimately we answer all your questions, too. Our engineers are the perfect people to do that.
What happens next?
After an initial consultation to discuss your requirements, timeframes and expectations, we then begin the design process. This is where we will be asking for the details and information that we need from you before making our plan to deliver what we say we’re going to deliver.
Once the engineers have designed your custom-made solution, we will send you a proposal to review and agree, we’ll get started on the manufacturing process. This is where the fun really begins!
All our customers receive free technical advice on every project, with dedicated engineering support from concept to delivery. We also provide free training to customers across our suite of products, answering all the questions you need to make the most of your application or product.
