When working inside an enclosure, the Econoloc’s safety locking shroud is manually released by applying thumb pressure to the designated area, allowing the gas spring to compress in a controlled manner.

Manufactured in 316L, our stainless-steel gas springs undergo rigorous testing, including 1,000 hours of salt spraying to ensure they live up to the challenge of harsh environments.

Our gas springs and dampers provide this level of safety in many different formats. For example, to ensure safety when working inside an enclosure, the Econoloc eliminates the need for separate safety rods through positively locking when fully extended, protecting the operator from potential injury in the event of overload or misuse.
