Friction Locking Compression Gas Springs

Introducing our Stop and Stay and Stop and Stay+ products! These innovative Friction Locking Compression Gas Springs are especially designed to counterbalance the weight of your application throughout its entire stroke. This advanced feature enables precise positioning in multiple positions, giving you complete control over the object's placement.

Unlike standard gas springs, our Stop and Stay range is set to securely support the application without any unintended movement. It keeps your object in the desired position, letting you dictate how it moves. With our solution, you can confidently adjust and position your object exactly where you want it, at any time.

By employing the principle of counterbalancing, our Stop and Stay and Stop and Stay+ products ensure the weight of your application remains evenly distributed during the gas springs entire stroke. This guarantees precise, multi-position positioning without any worries of the object shifting out of place.

These advanced gas spring feature an internal pre-set friction control valve that effortlessly counterbalances the weight of your application. This unique design allows for secure multi-position holding without any manual adjustment required.

With our Friction Locking Compression Gas Springs, you can position screens or other appliances precisely where you need them, for as long as you want them to stay in place. The internal friction valve is specially designed and pre-set to match the weight of your application, making installation quick and hassle-free.

Our stop and stay products provide you with ultimate control over position for a wide range of applications. Effortlessly raise, lower, and set your object at any position with minimal effort and in no time at all. Unlike the Blocklift product, these gas springs do not lock in position; they simply hold your object securely until you choose to move it again.

From canopies and monitor arms to acoustic hoods, delicatessen counters, sunbeds, and beyond, Stop and Stay gas springs are perfect for various applications.

These gas springs are designed for simple and hassle-free installation, with easy adjustment to achieve the desired level of support. Once installed, you’ll have fingertip control to move the object to any desired position.

For the Stop and Stay product, the locknut can be adjusted to match the weight of your application. This creates a ‘stick-slip’ friction effect on the rod, ensuring secure positioning.

In the case of our Friction Locking Compression Gas Springs, they feature an internal locking mechanism that is factory set. This makes them perfect for high-volume manufacturing installations, where consistent and reliable performance is essential.
